NC plays Sabetha tough in opener

Nemaha Central kicked off the 2019 high school football season Friday night, September 6, with a visit from Big 7 League foe and cross country rival Sabetha.

The Thunder took a very early lead when junior Tyler Gerety took the opening kick-off 88 yards for a touchdown.
