Douglas K. Werner, 45, Sabetha was arrested on 4-20-2015 by NMSO on a Brown County Bench Warrant for Probation Violation. Werner was released on $25,000 surety bond on 4-20-2015 with a court date of 5-15-2015 at 9:00 a.m.
Jennifer S. Lucero, 35, Topeka was arrested by KHP on 4-21-2015 for alleged Driving While Suspended. Lucero was released on 4-21-2015 on $250 cash bond with a court date of 5-26-2015 at 9:00 a.m.
Daniel S. Brown Jr., 26, Wetmore was arrested on 4-21-2015 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Probation Violation. Brown was released on 4-22-2015 on $25,000 OR bond with a court date of 5-7-2015 at 9:30 a.m.
Gregory R. Fisher, 53, Sabetha was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on 4-23-2105 on a Nemaha County Bench Warrant for Probation Violation. Fisher remains in custody with bond set at $20,000.
Frank Cooper Jr., 42, Junction City, KS was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on 4-24-2015 on two Nemaha County Warrants for Probation Violation. Cooper remains in custody with bonds set at $2,500 each.
Rodney L. Paden, 55, Horton was arrested on 4-24-2015 by the Seneca Police Dept. for alleged Driving Under the Influence. Paden was released on $1,000 cash bond on 4-24-2015 with a court date of 5-26-2015 at 10 a.m.
John D. Hopp, Jr., 40, Sabetha was arrested on 4-25-2015 by the Sabetha Police Dept. for alleged Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Suspended, and Refusal to Submit to Alcohol Testing. Hopp is also being held on a Brown County Warrant for Failure to Appear.
Sometime between April 15th and April 20th an unknown person took a 1999 Ford F-250 4x4 pickup, red in color, from 257 U Road, Goff without the owner’s permission. Approximately $1500 loss.
On 4-17-2015 at 7:33 p.m. Leroy E. Meyer, 76, Bern was traveling westbound on 200th Road approximately ½ mile east of S Road when he left the roadway, struck a private drive, and rolled the vehicle onto its top. Meyer and his passenger, Helen Meyer, 71, were transported to the Sabetha Hospital by private vehicle. He was driving a 2013 Ford Edge. Over $1,000 damage.
On 4-19-2015 at 9:50 p.m. Courtney J. Holthaus, 17, Fairview was traveling eastbound on 56th Road approximately ¼ mile east of F Road when she went to the right edge of the roadway and struck a bridge. She was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, over $1,000 damage. Holthaus was transported to the Seneca Hospital by ambulance.
On 4-18-2015 at 12:46 p.m. Dana Piecschl, 47, Marysville was traveling westbound on US Hwy 36 just east of O Road when she struck a turkey. She was driving a 2013 Ford Edge. Under $1,000 damage.
On 4-16-2015 at 1:10 p.m. James E. Shump, 71, Seneca was traveling northbound on K-63 Hwy just south of 208th Road when he had to take evasive action to avoid an oncoming vehicle which had come into his lane of travel. Shump left the roadway and struck a ditch embankment causing damage to his vehicle. Shump was driving a 2005 Peterbilt Dump truck. Over $1,000. He was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
On 4-16-2015 at 1:10 p.m. Jacob S. Feldkamp, 28, Centralia was traveling westbound on 52nd Road just west of K Road when he drove off the right side of the roadway, went through an electric fence and struck a utility pole. Feldkamp was driving a 1997 Buick 4 door. Over $1,000 damage.
On 4-26-2015 at 1:18 p.m. Thomas B. Koch, 56, Baileyville, was traveling westbound on US 36 Highway and had slowed to make a left turn onto E Road. He was struck from behind by Brian A. Deters, 43, Axtell, who was also traveling westbound. Koch was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, and Deters was driving a 2015 Ford pickup. Over $1,000 damage.
