Sheriff's Report as of July 23rd


 

ARRESTS:
Katie S. Beethe was released on $1,500 surety bond on 7-14-2014 with a court date of 8-5-2014 at 10 a.m. 
James E. Stewart was released on $245 OR bond on 7-14-2014 with a court date of 8-12-2014 at 11:00 a.m. 
Francisco Gutierrez was released on $1250 cash bond on 7-15-2014 with a court date of 8-19-2014 at 9:30 a.m. 
Erik L. Walsh, 30, Pottsboro, TX was arrested on 7-15-2014 by NMSO for alleged Possession of Stolen Property. Walsh remains in custody awaiting extradition to Texas.
Devin J. Lyle, 21, Salina was arrested on 7-16-2014 by KHP on a Seneca Municipal Warrant for Failure To Appear. Lyle was released on $1,000 OR bond on 7-17-2014 with a court date of 8-20-204 at 9:00 a.m.
Camoran M. Shopteese, 27, Horton, was arrested on 7-18-2014 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Battery, Criminal Restraint, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage. Shopteese was released on 7-18-2014 on $2,500 surety bond with a court date of 8-19-2014 at 9:30 a.m. The warrant was issued after an incident at 310 3rd Street in Wetmore on 1-18-2014.
CASES: 
Sometime between 7-5-2014 and 7-12-2014 an unknown person took a 2002 Kawasaki ATV with a 25 gallon sprayer without permission from a residence at 680 E Road, Centralia. Approximate value of loss is $3800.00.
ACCIDENTS:
On 7-15-2014 at 7:02 a.m. Kyle S. Strathman, 22, Circleville was traveling westbound on State Highway 9 approximately 1/4 mile east of N Road when he left the roadway and went through a fence. He was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup. Over $1,000 damage. 
On 7-18-2014 at 4:46 p.m. June M. Lambrecht, 37, Bern was traveling westbound on 192nd Road just west of P Road when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed over into the eastbound land and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Bodean Graham, 16, Bern. Lambrecht was driving a 2001 Buick 4 door and Graham was driving a 2003 Oldsmobile 4 door. Over $1,000 damage.
On 7-19-2014 at 11:26 p.m. Becky J. Howerton, 40, Topeka was traveling eastbound on State Highway 9 just west of R Road when she swerved to miss a deer and struck a road sign. She was driving a 2011 GMC Terrain. Over $1,000 damage.
