Sheriff's Report as of June 24


 

ARRESTS:
John L. Dale, 60, Seneca was released on 6/17/2015 on time served.
Justin R. Kendrick, 18, Manhattan was arrested on 6/18/2015 on a Nemaha County Warrant for Probation Violation. Kendrick remains in custody with a bond set at $25,000.
Gregory R. Fisher, 53, Sabetha was arrested on 6/17/2015 on a Nemaha County Warrant for Giving a Worthless Check. Fisher remains in custody with a bond set at $550.00. Fisher was released on 6-29-2015 on $250 cash bond with a court date of 7-21-2015 at 10 a.m.
Brandon J. Miller, 24, Pawnee City, NE was arrested by Sabetha PD on 6-18-2015 for alleged Burglary and Theft. He is also being held on a Pawnee County Warrant for Felony Domestic Assault. Miller remains in custody.
Rae D. Mora, 22, Seneca was arrested on 6-18-2015 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Burglary and Theft. Mora was released from custody on 6-19-2015 on bond of $5,500 surety with a court date of 7-21-2015 at 10 a.m. This warrant was issued based upon a report taken by NMSO on 5-20-2015 indicating that $950 cash had been taken from a vehicle parked at 1954 24th Road, Goff.
Joshua D. Strathman, 22, Goff was arrested on 6-18-2015 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Domestic Battery. Strathman was released on 6-18-2-15 on $2,000 surety bond with a court date of 7-21-2015 at 10 a.m. This warrant was issued based upon a report taken by NMSO on 5-27-2015 at 553 N Road, Goff.
Dylon J. Barrett, 24, Oneida was arrested on 6-18-2015 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Battery and Criminal Damage to Property. Barrett was released on $1,500 surety bond on 6-18-2015 with a court date of 6-30-2015 at 10 a.m. Barrett’s warrant was issued based upon a report taken on 5-25-2015 by NMSO for an incident that took place in Oneida.
Rita D. Grier was released on 6-20-2015 on $11,000 surety bond with a court date of 7-28-2015 at 9:00 a.m.
Michael L. Mitchell, 48, Dawson, NE was arrested on 6-19-2015 by NMSO on a Nemaha County Warrant for Felony Theft.  Mitchell was released on $5,000 surety bond with a court date of 7-22-2015 at 10 a.m. 
Matthew C. Whitt, 23, Manhattan was arrested on 6-20-2015 by NMSO for alleged Driving While Suspended and Possession of Marijuana. Whitt was released on 6-20-2015 on $1,750 surety bond with a court date of 7-22-2015 at 10 a.m.
Jesus A. Lozano, 41, Seneca was arrested by Seneca PD on 6-19-2015 for alleged Domestic Battery. Lozano was released by the Municipal Court on 6-19-2015.
CASES: 
On 6-6-2015 NMSO took a report of Criminal Damage to Property at the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery on North 11th Street. Sometime between 10 p.m. on 6-5-2015 and 8:45 a.m. on 6-6-2015 an unknown person or persons damaged the marble “Altar of Sacrifice” at the cemetery. Approximately $5,000 damage.
Sometime between 7 p.m. on 6-12-2015 and 1 p.m. on 6-13-2015 an unknown person entered 5304 Abbott St., Goff and removed a German Shepherd puppy valued at approximately $1,500. 
On 5-24-2015 NMSO took a report of Criminal Damage at 1389 State Hwy 9, Corning.  Sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. an unknown person broke a window on a 1995 Chevrolet pickup.  Approximately $50 damage.
ACCIDENTS:
On 6-14-2015 at 2:30 a.m. Shelby A. Mettlen, 23, Lucas, was traveling northbound on H Road when her passenger side mirror struck the mailbox at 2191 H Road. She overcorrected and slid off the right side of the roadway. She was driving a 2003 Toyota Rav4. Over $1,000 damage.
On 6-13-2015 at 10:20 p.m. an unidentified driver in a white Ford Super Duty truck was traveling northbound on Kansas St. just north of 5th Street in Wetmore when it left the roadway, striking a sign and tearing up grass in the ditch.  Under $1,000 damage.
On 6-12-2015 at 7:30 p.m. Darell R. Grove, 54, Oneida was traveling eastbound on US 36 Hwy just west of M4 Road when he left the roadway striking a culvert.  Grove was driving a 1999 Ford pickup.  Over $1,000 damage. Grove was transported to the hospital by Nemaha County EMS.
